Description
This photograph captures Khustup during one of autumn’s first shifts toward winter. Fresh snow covers the summit, while the lower slopes remain deep green and the early morning light catches the forest in warm tones.
What drew me to the scene was the contrast — snow above, autumn below, and a narrow band of sunlight passing through the landscape between them. It was a short-lived moment when the mountain seemed to hold two seasons at once.
The result is a quiet photograph built around that transition: cold and warmth, snow and green forest, all meeting on the slopes of Khustup.
